About Facterra

What does Facterra do?

We connect process manufacturers and their machinery suppliers on our digital ecosystem.

Our software enables manufacturers to make the most of their machines and allows machinery OEMs to sell more services to a significantly larger installed base.

What about data security?

At Facterra, we are categorical that the data that we host is owned by the company that creates it. We are also clear that only the owner can use the data (or authorise 3rd parties to use the data with explicit, extremely granular data usage authorisation settings. Put simply, our customers have full control over exactly who can access and use their data and for what use cases and outcomes.

We implement these controls with 3 different encryption methods to ensure maximum data protection.

Where is data hosted?

All the data are stored on servers based in the European Union. Facterra is fully compliant with the E.U. General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) for personal data.

How can Facterra improve my COVID-19 readiness?

What are the different pricing plans for Facterra?

We currently offer 3 plans.

  • Enterprise

Each plan gives access to a specific list of features, the details of which can be perused here.

How do you define Equipment?

An Equipment is a machine or component registered as such in APM, on which maintenance can be performed.

Are there any additional setup fees?

Setup tutorials and explanations are offered as part of the subscription plan to all customers. Nevertheless, Enterprise plan customers can request for additional customised support which is billed as part of our Professional Services. Talk to our sales teams for more details.

Which web browser do you recommend for using Facterra?

The software works under the following operating systems: Windows, Mac OS, Android, iOS, Linux, and can be used with any updated, modern browser, including Google Chrome, Firefox, Edge.

As of 2021, we no longer support Internet Explorer.

Which language setups are available?

Our products are all available in English, German, Spanish, Russian and French.

How do I access my Facterra account?

When you register, you will receive an email with the URL of your account as well as your login credentials.

You can access the page to log into your Asset Performance Management account by typing the account URL in your browser.

How much time do I need to master the software?

Facterra is user-friendly and requires minimum training for industrial operators and maintenance technicians. A 2-hour training is enough to master the basics and handle maintenance planning and completion.

Thanks to its highly ergonomic interface, the software is easy to use for each participant of the company, at their level.

What if I still have questions about the usage of a feature?

To support you in mastering your new tool, we have developed a Knowledge Base. You will find articles and videos on each section of APM to support you and your employees on a daily basis.
